FAQ

Quick answers. If you’d rather ask a human, send a message—we respond within one business day.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. The modules assume zero prior knowledge and focus on the few decisions that unlock most results (soil, light, water, timing).

Do you cover different climates and seasons?

Yes. We teach principles and then show how to adjust timing and tactics based on temperature swings, sunlight, and growing space.

How long is each lesson?

Most lessons are 6–12 minutes, followed by a short checklist or “micro-challenge” you can do immediately.

What if I’m busy and miss a week?

No problem. You’ll always see the “next best step” based on your current season and plant stage, not an arbitrary calendar.

Micro-challenge

“Light Map” in 4 minutes

A quick task that improves plant placement immediately.

  1. Pick your main growing spot (window, balcony corner, patio edge).
  2. At three times today (morning / noon / late afternoon), note whether it’s in direct sun, bright shade, or deep shade.
  3. If it’s less than 6 hours of direct sun, choose leafy greens/herbs; if 6+, tomatoes/peppers become viable.
  4. Take one photo at each time and compare shadows—this becomes your “light map.”

Sample lesson + checklist

Delivered as a downloadable note inside this page (no external links).

Sample lesson: “The 3 checks before you water”

Most plant problems are watering problems. Use these three checks so you water when it helps, not when it harms.

  • Finger test: 2–3 cm down feels cool and moist → wait.
  • Pot weight: light pot means dry root zone.
  • Leaf signal: droop + dry soil = water; droop + wet soil = aerate.

GardenWise Week 1 Quickstart 1) Light map: direct sun hours (0–2 / 3–5 / 6+) 2) Soil feel: gritty / balanced / peat-heavy 3) Water rule: check finger + pot weight before watering 4) One improvement: add mulch OR improve drainage 5) One photo: baseline plant + location
